What You Get in this course

Start Improvising With a Huge Head-Start

Chord Tone Zone is designed specifically for beginner improvisers. The mission is to get you sounding GREAT, fast and efficiently, using only a few notes; that’s right, Chord Tones.

We will be working with familiar chord progressions: the Bb Blues and the classic jazz standard “There Will Never Be Another You”.

Believe it or not, we will only ever use the root, 3rd, 5th and 7th of each chord! Combined with 5 key rhythms these chord tones can be used to craft amazing improvised solos.

By taking all the guess-work out and providing the exact notes and rhythms to use, beginning improvisers can quickly develop confidence and chops.
