Jeffrey Stevenson

Jeffrey Stevenson is an Austin-based saxophonist, producer, and content creator with a reputation for putting a fresh saxophone spin on popular music. His work online has drawn recognition from a range of major artists, including Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Zara Larsson, Gracie Abrams, Laufey, and Addison Rae. He also made an on-screen appearance as a saxophonist in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon.

Stevenson’s performance résumé spans the country and reaches well beyond U.S. borders, with appearances at festivals, concert venues, and private engagements alike. He’s a familiar face in Austin’s vibrant music community, where he frequently takes the stage both as a featured solo act and alongside other artists. He completed a Master’s degree in Jazz Studies with an Emphasis in Music Production at the University of Central Oklahoma, and his catalog of recorded work features a long list of singles, EPs, and full-length albums spanning collaborations with diverse artists. He marked a milestone in 2024 with the release of his first album of original material, Hypsometric.

The voice Stevenson brings to his instrument draws from the bluesy, jazz-rooted playing of legends like Stanley Turrentine, Stan Getz, Dexter Gordon, Sonny Stitt, and Oscar Peterson, blended with the pop, rock, and funk sounds that defined his upbringing — think Clarence Clemons and Lenny Pickett.
