A Sophisticated
Concept
Sax players want a horn that looks cool. Not like your typical student band instrument. The darker cognac lacquer gives the BetterSax Classic saxophones a sophisticated look that reminds us of some of our favorite vintage instruments. We also have the very cool underslung octave key which is a nod to elite Yanagisawa and Vintage King Super 20 saxophones. Most importantly this horn plays incredibly well especially considering the price you’re able to get it for.
A Unique
Design
We spent a lot of time dialing in the details of these saxophones to make them ergonomically comfortable and easy to play. Post to body construction makes for a lighter weight, and more immediate response. There’s a lot of features on the BetterSax Classic saxophones that you would normally find on intermediate and pro level instruments. They have blued steel springs, metal domed resonators, pisoni leather pads, a high F# key and come with the great playing BetterSax Classic mouthpiece. They come with a lightweight and protective backpack case that has ample storage space for accessories and sheet music or books.

The P65 sticker refers to something called Proposition 65. This was enacted in 1986, the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, commonly known as Proposition 65, requires businesses to notify consumers about potential chemical risks.
Proposition 65 applies to any products that may be sold in or brought into the state of California. It requires the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) to maintain and annually update a list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm. This list includes a variety of substances found in everyday items, from food additives to dyes, solvents and pesticides, with the goal of keeping consumers informed about their exposure to these chemicals.
If a product contains or is made using any of these listed chemicals, businesses must provide a warning. Manufacturers are responsible for notifying consumers through labels or inserts. You can find more details here.
