This means that you get more out of your reeds and saves you money in the long run. Reeds warp very easily and each time they get wet and then dry, this can happen. Reeds won’t seal very well when warped, so the Geeklet helps by flattening the reed table so that your reeds seal better.

The corners of your reeds can often have one side that is a bit more flexible than the other, meaning that is out of balance. Your best results will come from a reed that vibrates equally on each side, and using the Geeklet on the side that is less flexible will give you that balance. This can have a major impact on how a particular reed plays.
