Otto Link Tone Edge 7*
I recently had my Otto Link Tone Edge 7* mouthpiece refaced by Phil-Tone Mouthpieces.
While this mouthpiece is now much improved after I had it refaced, you can probably hear the slight lack of projection and tubbiness. Low notes don’t speak as well as I’d like either. However, the altissimo is very clear, oddly enough. Comparing this mouthpiece to the Intrepid 7* from Phil-Tone you can hear the significant difference in projection and tonal clarity. These are easy to compare because they’re designed in a similar style. Check out my mini mouthpiece review of the Intrepid to compare them for yourself.

I know some people sound great on these. I’m just not one of them. Swipe through to hear my comments on this mouthpiece. The reed is from Lupifaro and the ligature is from BG France.
